Rear half shaft oil seal replacement.

 · i need to replace the rear axle half shaft oil seals on my B, i have the seals ready but just want to check if my install method is ok. On other tractors i have had that needed the same job doing i all needed to do was to pry the old seal out of the casing and off the shaft and then just lube and fit the new seals with a suitable size drift.

 · The loader posts were put on wrong (swapped). I swapped posts to correct positions. And I see no reason to remove them for a right rear axle seal job. Dealer did a engine oil and filter change and I did not request it. I did request the hydraulic oil filter change and screen cleaning which was not done. My keys were given to another owner.

 · If you mean the actual seals they are in small caps at end of housing. been 20 + years. remove tires,take medium file to key edges and any other nicks rough spots, remove 4 bolts,cap old seal. replace seal. tape or cover entire axle with something smooth overlapping in to out ( except last inch for seal) oil axle/tape.
